How Can I Become More Than Friends With This Guy I Like?

There this guy I've made great friends with this year, he's so super nice and amazingly sweet and whenever he's around he just makes me smile and happy. We only hug and the way he hugs me is like a brother to sister hug and I cant really control my feelings for him, when hes gone my heart sinks,when hes there my heart leaps, it may sound corny but I just really need help getting him to like me more and not just as friends because his best friend asked him if he liked me and he said ';no were just friends , I don't really see her in that way shes like a lil sis to me';, please dont give me comments like ';just be yourself'; or ';you cant change someones mind'; or ';its not easy'; or anything like that, i just need straightforward simple steps i can do that may be useful and could work in helping me get closer with this guy and letting him like me. As to your question, honestly there is no miracle way to get this guy to see you more than a friend. The only way to accomplish this is quite simple....Tell him, and hope for the best. Ok, well you have to give him clearer indications that you're interested as more than just a friend, but you don't want to come on too strong it might scare him %26amp; make things awkward, %26amp; you'll end up hanging out a lot less because of it. You already have the friend chemistry down, so that's cool- you both feel comfortable with each other. What you need to do now is start dropping hints to the guy that you like him, but DON'T approach him with this really serious conversation it will make things very difficult for both of you. It's a fine line between being cool %26amp; casual about it, %26amp; making SURE that he has communicated his feelings (or lack of them) clearly %26amp; unambiguously, so you're not like ';he said this what does it mean...';. I don't know how old u both r but try touching him casually, that's always a sign to guys; smile like u do, try holding hands etc. or getting closer to him if u r both watching a movie or something. again, DON't put too much pressure on- how much is too much depends on each individual.
