Just slowly stop being so available. Let him realize it first. Then he will ask and you can tell him why. Be honest. It may be too dramatic to sit down and tell him ';this is how it needs to be'; a little soap opera-ish. So kind of make him spend time with his chick (by not being available) He'll get over it. Your situation sounds so childish. No offence. Just be straight up and tell him you're in love with your current boyfriend. And be honest and tell him you're relationship with him is strictly platonic and won't go beyond being friends.
