Is it possible to have guy friends when guys have crushes on you?

Please don't say I'm bragging or anything - I'm NOT. I need advice.


Let's just say I'm not hideous, and I have a good metabolism. Anyway, a lot of guys my age *like like* me. Do you think it's possible to be JUST FRIENDS with a guy that likes you romantically? How can I get it across that I'm NOT looking for a boyfriend?

Yeah, you can deffinatly be just friends with guys that ';like like'; you. I used to have the same problem as you. Just say some random things sometimes like ';i love being single, and i don't want it any other way'; Just stuff like that will give them the hint trust me.
No matter what age you are, no guy can ever be friends with you without hoping for something more. No matter how much he plays along with ';just being friends,'; he will always be looking for the first opportunity to take it further. That's how guys are, even if you are just average looking.
The best way of handling that is by be straight forward with the guy I'm pretty sure weather its knowing or not your sending mixed messages. You need to be clear with the guys that what you want a friendship and not a relationship. Stop the flirting, hugging and kisses.
Just tell them that your not into dating right now %26amp; you just want to be friends with guys for now. And you can joke around and say if your dad catches them then they'll get the message. Yeah, I'm glad you different from other middle schooler. You seem to not want to mature quicker than your body or your brain is letting on. Good for u
haha well actually all these other answers suck. look i am a guy and i do like some girls like you. and were not interested in just being your friend. even if they say thats fine there lying. there just waitin and hopin you'll change your mind eventually. that or you'll notice em starting to just back away from you over some time and eventually just stop trying.
It is possible. All through high school one of my best friends had a crush on me. He knew I knew about it, but it was never an issue. Just don't lead the guys on if you just want to be friends.
Of course it is because he will just think about you every day and buy you hi-chew which is a good thing. Just tell him you want to be friends with him and hopefully he'll still buy you food x)
uh duh!...k i've grown up wit guys n even if they know that i like them or ik that they like me we still stay tight (as friends..obviously)...but imma warn u that if sumday they ask u to have sex n u say no they may disapear..that's wut happend wit alotta my guys...but others stayd..n those are tha ones that really care bout the friendship n u...so just watch ur back...
