What can I do to stop guys hitting on me all the time. Sometimes I just want to be friends.?

Have a lot of guy friends, 90% of them have asked me out and those who haven't are on their way there. Am tired of losing friends coz of this coz wen i tell them i cant go out with them, things get kinda awkward and we don't laugh as much anymore. Am i sending the wrong messages to them? if yes, how can i stop? How shud i behave around guys when i just want them to be my friends? Guys n ladies,help!What can I do to stop guys hitting on me all the time. Sometimes I just want to be friends.?
I know how you feel. I just get on better with guys than with girls, i can't help that, but I've often wondered if I've given them the wrong idea.





I had this very thing occur to me very recently - a guy i considered a friend hit on me, i turned him down, and things have been very awkward since. All the more difficult since i work with him. I stewed over what happened for ages, wondering if I'd sent the wrong messages. I still haven't worked that one out, but I do know that over time, things have become less awkward.





My suggestion would be, yes, just be a little careful about the messages you're sending (although that's easier said than done, i know). I'd also suggest that it might be better to be upfront with most of these guys, tactfully, by indicating somehow that all you want from them is friendship. If one of your friends comes on to you, just tell them that you want to be friends, no awkwardness between the two of you.


I don't know you personally so I don't know how you act in front of these guys, but maybe ask some of them why they like you or the way you act. It might give you some insight as to what kind of image you are projecting to guys.
If you ';like'; the guy then you should flirt with him.


But for guys that you want to be friends with make sure that you dont do anything to lead them on or tease them.


No offence, and i dont know you personally, but girls with large boobs often get to be in your situation. If that is your case then cover up. Dont wear anything too low cut, otherwise all the guys will be obsessed with you and your body.
