How to show my guy friend that i want to be friends with him?

i have known this guy (he is also my next door neighbor) my whole life. we use to be like brother and sister until a couple of years ago. we have not talked very much recently. how i can i show him that i want to be his friend again?How to show my guy friend that i want to be friends with him?

I know what you mean, I was friends with a girl since I was like 5 and we used to see eachother like everyday. When you get older things get complicated because you start looking for a mate. As soon as someone starts dating you have to keep your distance to respect them. But i would just try and talk to him, just try to meet up with him accidently and just srike a conversation then say we should meet up more often.
start up a chill conversation with him, dont type a long story to him about your life, just make it small convo to show that you miss talkin to him and stuff :) then it will lead to friendship. good luck
Smile, say hello, ask about his day. Take your conversation a step further each day. I've done this many times. Trust me, even the slightest ';hello'; makes a big difference.
